About Dads in London

Hello!
I’m Jeff, and I live in London with my two young sons. A few years ago, our weekends had settled into a routine of cartoons, Sonic and soggy playgrounds, with the occasional museum trip thrown in when I felt we ought to do something cultured. The boys generally needed bribing with Babybel to leave the house, and I can’t pretend I was desperate to see the Rosetta Stone (again) either.
Then we went to a kids’ rave in Brixton. There was music and beer for the adults, glow sticks and popcorn for the children, and, unusually, we all had a brilliant time. It made me wonder what else was going on in London that we’d never heard about.
Quite a lot, as it turns out. I started Dads in London to find the best of it and share it with other dads who’d like to enjoy their weekends as much as their kids do. Every week, I send out at least five ideas for things to do in the capital, including shows, exhibitions, events and days out you might otherwise miss. I spend an unreasonable amount of time researching each one, trying to get past the promotional blurb and work out what your kids will actually do there, which bits you might enjoy, and whether the whole thing is worth leaving the house for. I’ll give you the practical details too, along with suggestions for what to do while you’re there.
If that sounds useful, sign up for the weekly email.
See you out there,
Jeff
